    The Grove Mart and Shell c-store concept opened in 2012 and features high-end interior features including reclaimed barnwood, gold leaf domed ceilings and stained patterned concrete floors. The c-store includes coffee and espresso island, a self-serve food service are including roller grills, soups kettles and refrigerated grab-n-go. Cold beverage options include fountain drinks, frozen beverages and nineteen reach-in cooler doors that display a generous offering of beer, wine, soda, water and tea.

    A few unique features of the Grove Mart include the cashier area enclosed in reclaimed wood and located beneath a gold-leaf domed ceiling. The “liquor grotto” is another innovative and attractive offering featuring back-lit back panels and glass shelves surrounded by a stone facade.

    A look at the Grove Mart Shell C-store and Gas Station in Lake in the Hills, IL. The c-store opened in 2012. Jim Richards, Sr provided equipment specification services and overall project managment. The architectural firm of record is Chris Kalishefski of Corporate Design and Development Group (Hoffman Estates, IL). The General Contractor was Pratum Construction Services, LLC (Hoffman Estates, IL).
